Nuova Contessa’s signature Smart Operation concept enables adjustments to be easily made while the user is seated. The task chair is offered as an all-mesh model or with mesh back and upholstered seat.     Seat Height

    • Standard pneumatic cylinder provides height adjustment of 4.5 inches

    • "Smart operation" adjustment enables user to adjust seat height from the seated position

    Tilt Control

    • "Smart operation" adjustment enables user to set the tilt control from the seated position and make continuous adjustments. Back can be locked in five positions or left to free flow

    Tilt Tension

    • Four settings provide minimum to maximum tension

    • Correct tension keeps user's back in contact with chair - gives spine the critical support needed to maintain normal alignment

    Optional Lumbar Element

    • Height raises or lowers up to 2-1/4 inches

    • Responds uniquely to individual's back curve depth and force

    Armrest

    • Option for fixed Armrest or 4D Armrest

    • 4D Arm pad adjusts 20 degrees inward and 10 degrees outward, 4-1/4 inches in width

    • Up to 4 inches of height adjustment via button control

    • Armrests enable the user's elbows to fall naturally down the body midline

    Seat Depth

    • Seat depth adjustment up to 2 inches

    • Seat pan keeps user's lower body in motion

    Optional Headrest

    • Promotes a healthy position of the head and neck - maintains the spine's natural "C" curve in the cervical vertebrae
